OUR LAND. OUR RIGHTS. OUR VOICE.

The Ogoni people have called the Niger Delta home for decades.

Today, their fight for environmental justice, human rights, and the power to determine their own future continues.

OGONI'S STRUGGLE CONTINUES

Oil Wealth. Human Cost

A GLOBAL INITIATIVE

Decades of oil extraction has left Ogoni communities facing environmental devastation, polluted land, water, and an ongoing struggle for justice.

The Ogoni people continue to call for accountability, environmental restoration, human rights, and self-determination.

About Us

As the United States chapter of MOSOP, our mission is to honor the legacy of the Ogoni Nine, carry forward MOSOP’s original vision, and raise global awareness of the Ogoni people’s pursuit of environmental, social, and political justice.

We continue this work through peaceful advocacy, accountability, sustainable development in Ogoniland, and the pursuit of self-determination and justice for the Ogoni people and the nine that sacrifice their lives for justice.
